A Feast of the Damned

A Feast of the Damned is a 60-second horror-comedy / absurdist short film created for Full Sail University’s Project and Portfolio III: Digital Cinematography. The project was based on Prompt #2: “It is a very nice dinner,” which required a character arriving at a house, entering for a candlelit dinner, sharing an awkward meal, and leaving afterward.

I wrote, directed, shot, and edited the film, with Alex Fotschky and Xavia Fotschky appearing as actors. The short was produced through Ghost Town Studios LLC and created as a micro-short exercise in visual storytelling, pacing, performance, atmosphere, and genre contrast.

The film was shot on a Sony FX6 and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. Exact lens settings were not documented, but the project emphasized controlled framing, cinematic lighting, dark humor, and a bizarre horror-comedy tone over technical camera breakdowns.

A Feast of the Damned later received recognition through the Absurd Film Festival.
